Montana House District 68 represents the residents in the area (see map) in the Montana State Legislature. The district is newly drawn through the 2022 redistricting process. The map below will remain the voting district until 2032. The district contains at least 10,893 residents in areas in the Gallatin Valley. It includes some of Belgrade, River Rock, Churchhill, Amsterdam, Logan, and both stretches of the Gallatin and Madison rivers.
The Montana House of Representatives comprises 100 members elected to 2-year terms. Montanans elect all 100 members every 2 years. The primary purpose of each legislative session is to pass a balanced budget for state-level spending, and bills on public policy, which the Governor then signs or vetoes. Thousands of bills are introduced each 90-day legislative session in every odd-number year. We all have the power to vote who we elect to represent us.
